There are many practices that bring spirituality into your life. If you are trying them but they are not helping, one reason might be that you aren’t giving them the life force they need to become real. Let’s look at how to solve that issue.
The most important aspect of any practice is to bring in enough life force — made up of energy and inspiration — to do the practice effectively. We can’t get this life force from the world around us. With all the problems in the world, there just isn’t enough life force here. And what is here is full of negativity. What we need to do is reach deep into the shamanic lower world to find clean energy. Then we reach high into the upper world to find inspiration.
Life force goes by many names. In Japanese it is ki and shows up in martial arts (ai-ki-do, for example) and healing (rei-ki). Chinese use the word chi or qi, as in tai chi or qi gong. The Hindus call if prana. Christians say grace or, perhaps, the Holy Spirit. It has sometimes shown up in the fringes of Western psychology, such as Wilhelm Reich’s Orgone energy. The Inca medicine people use the word kausay. There are probably a thousand more words and subclasses of these words. But they are all talking about aspects of the same thing: life force.

Most of all, it’s our connection to sources of information that are normally beyond our ability to understand. Continue reading and add your comment →
The Will region is how we turn our wishes into reality. The Wish region is seeking a different state of being. The Will region takes the wish and decides what we can do to reach it. Possibilities for actions may come from the regions above Will, but the decisions are made by Will.
As most of you know, I’m writing a book called We All Have Souls and I Think I Can Prove It. This is the description of the bottom region of the soul. I call it the Energy region. Other traditions refer to it as the root chakra. I’m not fond of the term chakra, as you probably also know, because it brings up images of spots inside the body. I’m happier with a model where the soul surrounds the body.
I’ve included an exercise to help readers understand the region better. Your thoughts on the description and the exercise will help the book get better.
The energy region of the soul is our deep connection to a mix of positive and negative energy we tap into to create or destroy our realities. Continue reading and add your comment →
