Powering Your Wishes

There are many practices that bring spirituality into your life. If you are trying them but they are not helping, one reason might be that you aren’t giving them the life force they need to become real. Let’s look at how to solve that issue.

The most important aspect of any practice is to bring in enough life force — made up of energy and inspiration — to do the practice effectively. We can’t get this life force from the world around us. With all the problems in the world, there just isn’t enough life force here. And what is here is full of negativity. What we need to do is reach deep into the shamanic lower world to find clean energy. Then we reach high into the upper world to find inspiration.

Here’s a quick description of how to do that using the regions of your soul. Continue reading and add your comment

Updates on We All Have Souls and Speaking

We All Have Souls and I Think We Can Prove It

As you may have noticed, I took a break from writing for a while. It wasn’t planned, but other parts of my work seemed like they needed to be done instead. I’m back.

This time I have a couple of announcements and a quick request. My intention for next time is to start a series of posts on connection. I want to look at connection from the perspectives of martial arts, Inca medicine work, and the Sidhe.

The first announcement is that We All Have Souls and I Think We Can Prove It is available. Continue reading and add your comment

When We Are Born, Why Do We Forget Our Souls?

We forget because the wish of everything that comes into physical reality is to learn how to be separate. That’s the simple answer.

In soul reality everything is much more connected. When we’re there, I don’t think we can say that a wish belongs to just one soul. Wishes and every other part of what the soul does are shared pretty freely with all the other beings that are there. There may be some limit to the sharing based on connections, but every being is connected to lots of others.

When we are so connected with others, we can’t learn about the aspects of our soul (wishes, feelings, thoughts, etc.). So we decided to run an experiment. And here we are — in physical reality — separate from everyone else. Continue reading and add your comment

Compassionate Depossession

I took Betsy Bergstrom’s Compassionate Depossession class last weekend. Betsy was recommended by two shamanic practitioners I have a lot of respect for: Alida Birch in Eugene, Oregon, and Ana Larramendi in Madison, Wisconsin.

I’m going to talk here about compassionate depossession and some of the insights I got from taking the class. Let’s start with the two parts of compassionate depossession: depossession and compassion.

Depossession comes from the realization that it is possible for other souls or spirits to join with our soul. Sometimes the other beings want control of what we do. Other times they are lost and hurting — just looking for a safe place to hide. The problem is that even the beings that are just looking for safety can bring some negative things into our lives.

The compassionate part looks for ways to remove the possessing beings gently. It is very different from exorcism, where the being is treated as a demon and cast into the fiery pit of hell. For some, probably understandable, reason they don’t want to go and can put up quite a fight. What Betsy has seen is that most of the beings are not trying to cause harm. They are happy to move on because there are much better places for them to be. Compassionate depossession is all about Continue reading and add your comment
