Powering Your Wishes

Yew tree on the banks of Loch Lomand.

There are many practices that bring spirituality into your life. If you are trying them but they are not helping, one reason might be that you aren’t giving them the life force they need to become real. Let’s look at how to solve that issue.

The most important aspect of any practice is to bring in enough life force — made up of energy and inspiration — to do the practice effectively. We can’t get this life force from the world around us. With all the problems in the world, there just isn’t enough life force here. And what is here is full of negativity. What we need to do is reach deep into the shamanic lower world to find clean energy. Then we reach high into the upper world to find inspiration.

Here’s a quick description of how to do that using the regions of your soul. Continue reading and add your comment

Earth-Bound Wishes

We all bring wishes into this life.

Relationships, sexuality, money and other forms of power — these are important wishes. If we achieve all of these, is it enough?

I’m pretty sure the answer is no. These are our Earth-bound wishes. We have them because we are in a body. Between physical lives we have a completely different experience. Wishes from there are also part of who we truly are. We need to meet those wishes to be whole.

But, this post is not about abandoning our earth-bound wishes. Continue reading and add your comment

The We All Have Souls Movement

When I designed business cards for We All Have Souls, I put the following words under the title of the book: “A book, a blog, a movement.” The book is written. You’re reading the blog. I had an idea of what the movement would look like, but the past two weeks have made my conception much clearer.

During that time I met with independent bookstore owners and librarians at the Pacific Northwest Booksellers Association fall trade show. I also went to the King County Library System Celebration of Independent Publishers and taught my first class coming directly from the book We All Have Souls. Over the course of those events, many of my allies made suggestions for ways I could improve my message. I’d like to share my current message about the movement with you.

The We All Have Souls movement is centered on the idea that we, as individuals, would be better off if we all paid more attention to all the parts of our souls. Our practice communities would be better. And the world would be better. Continue reading and add your comment

Curses through Many Lifetimes

When I remove curses or have curses on me removed, I find that many are from earlier lifetimes. A typical pattern is that one person gets cursed in one lifetime and then turns around and curses the cursor in the next lifetime. Another pattern is that one person curses another person over and over through many lifetimes.

These curses can bounce back and forth, pretty much forever, getting stronger each time. When curse removers step in to fix the problem, they enter a dangerous minefield of interwoven nastiness.

I think there are two flavors to curses. One is binding negative life force to a person to bring about something like, “You will never find a woman who will treat you well.” The other is possessing a person to take over his or her Will. In my next post, I’ll tell a story about a curse that had both parts. A crucial aspect of removing the curse was finding the beginning of the cycle of cursing. Continue reading and add your comment

I-Am (revised)

Thanks to a blinding flashlight of inspiration — that’s what lets us poke around in the dark long enough to find something worthwhile, as long as the energy lasts and we don’t shine it in our own eyes — I realized that I needed to change my ideas about the I-Am part of the soul. I’ve resisted it for a long time — that’s the light in the eyes part — but I finally realized that I needed something like subtle bodies in my model.

In another bit of inspiration, perhaps a static electricity spark’s worth, I changed the name of the top region of the soul from Form to Info. Now the name matches better with the idea that the real blinding flashes of inspiration come from the upper region of the world, which I think of as mostly information.

With that, here are my current thoughts on the I-Am part of the soul. Continue reading and add your comment

President-Elect Donald Trump

The United States of America has elected Donald Trump as its next President. The campaign’s power, determination, and connection to the wishes of the American people were very strong.

I hope we can show the same power and determination (with, perhaps, more humility) in getting out the message that We All Have Souls.

Now it’s time to renew our positive connections with one another. We don’t banish the darkness by being dark. We don’t calm anger by being angry. We don’t end hate by hating.

We need to find the spark of the creator in everyone and turn that into a flame. That flame needs to light up the shadows so we can see ourselves clearly. And admit that because we are human, the shadows will always be there.

We need to find the calmness to look at our deep connections. We all wish for safety and love, enough food and protective shelter, respect and acknowledgement of our worth. There will always be change, and fear of change. What we need to know is that when the change causes us harm, there will be someone there to help us.

Knowing that we all have souls points out clearly that each of us owes that support to everyone and everything in the physical and soul worlds. With that kind of support, we can continue to grow.

I love you all.

Blending Soul Regions

When we look at how our soul regions blend together, it helps explain who we are. While it’s not always true, the cooperation is often in regions that are next to one another. I think it’s similar to the way colors in a rainbow change smoothly from one primary color to the next. For example, between blue and green we can see many types of blue-green. Let’s take a look at pairs of regions to show how this works in souls.

When Energy and Wish regions work together we see a person with a lot of energy to devote to a cause. The energy may be positive or negative. The cause may be healing or harmful. If the cause is getting enough food to eat, we can expect the person to use any energy that is there. Others may be hurt. If the cause is helping others, there is a better chance that the life force will be positive. Continue reading and add your comment

When We Are Born, Why Do We Forget Our Souls?

We forget because the wish of everything that comes into physical reality is to learn how to be separate. That’s the simple answer.

In soul reality everything is much more connected. When we’re there, I don’t think we can say that a wish belongs to just one soul. Wishes and every other part of what the soul does are shared pretty freely with all the other beings that are there. There may be some limit to the sharing based on connections, but every being is connected to lots of others.

When we are so connected with others, we can’t learn about the aspects of our soul (wishes, feelings, thoughts, etc.). So we decided to run an experiment. And here we are — in physical reality — separate from everyone else. Continue reading and add your comment

???ing the Haters

Last time I wrote about Ho’oponopono and asked for thoughts about how to use it in a confrontation about soul reality. Basic Ho’oponopono has four steps: “I’m sorry.” “Please forgive me.” “Thank you.” “I love you.”

I specifically asked what you would do if you were talking about your experiences and you ran into a “hater” who challenged you by saying, “There is no such thing as soul reality. Physical reality is all that there is.” How do you fill in the question marks in the title of this post? Continue reading and add your comment

Ho’oponopono, Hawaiian Reconciliation Practice

Ho’oponopono is a Huna practice to make things right between two people or groups of people. I’m going to describe where the practice comes from and one way to do it. Then I’m going to ask you for your thoughts on applying it to one particular situation.

I will write up your ideas as the blog for two weeks from now. This is a contribution I’m asking you to give to the community of readers here on the We All Have Souls website.

Background Concepts

Huna is a way of living that comes from the Hawaiian Islands. I first read about Huna Continue reading and add your comment
